Implementation of Integrated Management System Started

Implementation of Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health Safety and Food Safety standards) at Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited has been started from April 2015.

J&N is a pioneer in the fields of metal can manufacturing and metal sheet printing. Currently J&N manufactures industrial grade cans for the largest paint manufacturer; and food grade containers for leading food producers of Bangladesh. Though J&N maintains standards to offer quality products to its valued customers, the management has decided to go for formal quality certifications.

Under the Integrated Management System, the company will adopt standards from ISO (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001:2007) and FSSC (ISO 22000, ISO/TS 22002-4). ISO certifications will ensure J&N’s adherence to the best standards of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environment management (ISO 14001), and Occupational health and safety management (ISO 180001). On top of these standards, J&N will adopt standards from Food Safety Systems Certifications (FSSC) i.e. ISO 22000 for food safety management systems, and ISO 2002-part 4 for prerequisites for food packaging industries. In this connection intense activities have been started in multiple forms i.e. training, auditing, gap analysis, SOP preparations, hazard identifications and controlling, facility enhancements. YEA Group form India providing consulting services in this critical project.
